Trade Ya! Review

Heh, it's been a long time, hasn't it? It's not my fault I caught the lazyflu....
Anyway, it time to review, and I ain't escapin' this.
After a horrible pony-less week we receive this little gem- Trade Ya!
-Summary-
So all princesses except Twi are too lazy to go all the way to Rainbow Falls, so they all send Twi to look over the Traders Exchange.
Basically, at the exchange you take your old and boring stuff and trade it for someone's else old boring stuff.
Just like in Castle-Mane-ia the band breaks up in 3 pairs:
AJ and Rarity pile up their stuff to have lots of stuff to trade for one thing one of them likes (which, if you ask me, is a super stoopid idea, because one will be left with a cool thing and the other one will be left with nothing);

Pinkie promotes Twilight's books;

RD and Fluttershy go through a series of painful trades to get a book.
As a result, Rarity and AJ fight over old and boring stuff, Pinkie's campaign gets out of hand, and well RD... RD trades a two-headed dog and Fluttershy for and old book.   -_-

In the end Twi must use her supreme princess power to sort out this chaos and get poor Fluttershy back.

-Music-
I honestly don't know why I keep including this into my review, there wasn't any songs and I don't really pay attention to background music (except Luna's theme, that thing's awesome)
-Personal Opinion-
Nice ep. I'd really like to take part in that trade thing, cause you don't really need money for that. But to be completely honest, if I were to become a crab, I would be like this guy here

I would also like to point this out: did anyone else notice a pony who looked like an OC?

Well, I'm to lazy to write all the stuff down so why don't you give EquestriaDaily a visit and read it here

Should I even mention this pony face?

Or this? Am I the only one creeped out by this??

-Overview-

I think this episode was good, but not perfect. Yes, it had those awesome comical moments, but I'm saving the ''10'' for later... 9.5 out of 10

It's Twilight Time, c'mon grab your whatevs, and read the Anti-Review, dawgs.

Greetings Earthlings,

Your Reviewer Number 2 here, with our new feature 'WUT ARE DEM TALKING EQUINES DOIN'?' anti-review.
I say 'anti' because if you are looking for a serious, thoughtful review, scroll down amigos, scroll down.
If you are, on the other hoof, looking for something sillier, stay with me on this crazy train to Ponyville, as we focus our beady, overly-sparkly, sometimes even seizure-inducing pony eyes on this week's episode, 'Twilight Time'.

First of all, someone should lend those silly fillies a Mean Girls dvd, as all this hullabaloo would be avoided if they just understood one simple truth: Its Cool to be Uncool. If you're cool with being uncool, then you're automatically cool. You're welcome for the life-changing advice, bronies.
But since the insecure trio missed that particular lesson in school, they embark on an embarrassing Popularity Goose-chase. (lol, Popularity Goose sounds like a Hasbro villain. He wears glasses, skinny jeans and a fedora. He will wink at you and call you 'baby'. So villainous.)

Next up, some pretty grievous assaults on senior citizens:

Not cool, Snobby Princess-lookalike Pony, not cool. Hope you are aware that causing bodily harm and exploiting a senior citizen is considered a third degree felony, Diamond Tiara. But judging by the gleeful reaction of her pony-peeps, I'm guessing the law on that account is different in Equestria, so you old farts better watch out (I'm looking at you, Granny Smith!)

Borderline behaviour is also spotted in Sweetie Belle, when she engages in a sociopathic daydream featuring levitating Diamond Tiara against her will, and twirling her around at a vomit-inducing pace, while gleefully-evil onlookers laugh. I'm sensing that Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Belle have a lot more in common than we think- take even their colour hues, for example. They are so similar they could be cousins, if not sisters! Then there is their apparent sociopathic lust for popularity. And their sweet frou-frou styling. Need I go on? All hail conspiracy theories! Maybe Rarity's and Sweetie Belle's mother had a secret love child? In her appearance in 'Sisterhooves Social', she seems appropriately pink-looking to pass off as Diamond Tiara's mum:

Should we be expecting a tearful family reunion between the two sisters separated at birth anytime soon?
Talking about illegitimate children, is that Cheese Sandwich's long lost son?!

Somepony give that crazy dairy product-named equine a call, so he can pick up his abandoned son! Look at how sad this little guy looks! For shame Cheese Sandwich, for shame!

Moving on, the Trio proceed with their plan to win the hearts of their fellow midget ponies, and go on to devise a plan to ambush Twilight, a plan that probably comes directly out of the Stalker Book. ("There's a stalker book?" you ask? Yes, yes there is. Available on Amazon, just £5.99! Order now!)
Once the Cutie Mark Invaders get Twilight into the Pony McDonalds (which serves hayburgers instead of beefburgers- an wise decision, because otherwise it would cause a monumental scandal in the neighbouring bovine community...ponies eating cows? ugh, this isn't Hannibal after all!)
We then witness the true face of Princess Twilight, no, strike that, the true face of all Young Adults. Yes, my darling teen readers, once you outgrow that wide-eyed teenage insecurity, and enter your early 20's, this is the un-airbrushed reality:

When you're a young, single pony, living on your own in a hollowed out tree with a tubby man-child dragon roommate, your happiest moment in life is when a bunch of school-ponies invite you out for a burger or two (or four...). You don't care that you're a princess. Or that you have two ketchup stains on your cheeks (Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelli- oh nope, that's ketchup...). Or that the pony-dude sitting behind you is staring at you like you're a threat to society. Oh well.
What? You're saying you will never become the sad slob who has a love affair with a burger? What, you will always be the sophisticated filly, limiting yourself to only ONE burger, and wiping off that rogue ketchup with a napkin and NOT another burger? I bet they are thinking so too:

Just you wait, little fillies, just you wait...
After that, Twilight survives a brief attack of zombie-like midget ponies, we are made to endure Pip's annoying British accent, and witness the Cutie Mark Crusaders' swift rise to fame and popularity. But the higher the rise, the longer the fall, duum-duuum-duuummm. And the bigger the magic apple explosion. Poor Spike, no doubt he was the one who had to clean up the disgusting mess, as well as cook a mountain of nachos. Cheap labour? Exploitation of basic dragon rights? You bet! Poor poor Spike, not only Friend-Zoned by Rarity, but also Butler-Zoned by Twilight...

Once the Trio's plan for popularity fails, and the midget mob have nothing else to be entertained with, they are left to guilt their way back into Twilight's good books. Take notes, little bug-eyed extortionists: as long as you fix a scooter (a stolen scooter that you intentionally smashed), magically grow a flower, and miraculously make it fly and stick in your victims hair, you will be instantly forgiven.
Because that, you weirdos, is the magic of friendship.
 The End!

P.S

As we have already extensively touched upon the theme of secret love-children, here is one last example to tickle your fancy:
Ever sit on a boring gloomy day and wonder: What would happen if J. Bieber and One Direction's     H. Styles would have a pony-child? You haven't? You liar! We all have! And now, *drum roll and cannons* we can finally be at peace, because here he is, complete with swoopy hair and British accent:

Yes, Apple Blossom, you can punch him. I know you want to. We all do.

Peace out, losers

Season 4 Episode 1,2 Review

Hi!
Before I start with the review, I'd like to update some things and make some changes!
Few posts ago I mentioned about my Pony of the Season tradition. The pony in the surprise capsule is.....drum roll..... TWILIGHT SPARKLE!

Which is convenient- I've got a feeling we will be getting a lot of Twilight in this season!
Speaking of which- now that it started, I'll have material to review every week! I'll do my best to post reviews on Saturdays but mostly Sundays!
-------------------------------
Let's get started with the review!
If you haven't seen the episodes, you can find the links on my previous post.

-Summary-
The episode starts with Rainbow Dash helping Twilight with her flying. I was waiting for that part for a long time, the idea of Twilight Sparkle flying always made me laugh.
She's really annoyed because her friends call her "Princess". After that, Twilight tries to fly again, at which she succeeds for a few seconds, but the fails miserably and crashes.
In the next few scenes we see that she's uncomfortable with her new royal duties, cause' she can't hang around with her BPFF's in Ponyville for the time being.
Princess Celestia and Luna were captured but crazy murderous plants that evening, thus, there was no one to raise or lower the moon and sun.

Twilight flies home because those exact same plants are attacking Ponyville, and scaring the animals, sending crazy OP spikey clouds, and making unicorns loose control of their magic by adding more sparkles into it!

They think it's all Discords fault, but it's not! DUN DUN DUUNN
We then find out that stuff's getting to creepy even for Zecora, who moves to Ponyville, and conveniently taken a potion that can save them all.

she's onto something

After drinking it, Twilight gets flashbacks of epic events like:
-Luna turning into Nighmare Moon

-Celestia banishing Nightmare

epic laser battle
-Discord ruling Equestria
-First use of the Elements of Harmony

-That time when Luna and Celestia found the Elements of Harmony on a cool tree and then kinda stole them...

The ponies go into the Everfree Forest to find that tree to save it from some unknown threat, but then they decide that Twilight should return home because she's a princess now, and if she dies there won't be anyone to rule Equestria if Celestia and Luna won't turn up.
Twilight sadly returns to Ponyville, where Discord meets her and motivates her not to give up and follow her friends in a rather mean fashion. Oh well, Discord's Discord!
Twilight runs to find her friends, but then gets attacked by some flowers. The ponies save her, and then go find the magical Tree of Harmony.
The Tree is all...well... gross and drippy...

Twilight understands that they need to give up their elements to save the tree. And she takes the gemstones from the necklaces and her tiara and puts them into the tree.
Applejack didn't agree at first, since the Elements is what connects them, but Twilight reassures her that it's their friendship what keeps them together.

We learn an important lesson at that moment- Twilight says that even though she's a princess now, and she has royal duties, they will always be together, no matter what.
After returning the gems into the tree, the evil plants dissolve, and Princess Celestia and Luna are freed from their bushie prisons.

After a round of hugs, ponies see that the tree sprouts a flower, which is actually a box with 6 locks. Even Celestia doesn't know whats inside, but she know that "it's a mystery you (Twilight) won't be solving on your own"

I think I can guess what the finale will be about....
Discord then explains that those crazy plants where his, and he planted them 1000 years ago to capture Celestia and Luna, but it took then too long to grow... silly old Discord.
In the end Twilight preforms a perfect Sonic Twilightboom...? on the summer sun celebration.
Happy End!
Finally done with the summary
-Animation-
Traditional MLP animation. There's nothing to say.
One thing that impressed me was the awesome lightning.

Check out how cool their manes look in this magical white light.
And I'd like to point out the new intro.
First we see good ol' Twilight, but them BOOM, she's a alicorn and there's a lot of other ponies standing with the main 6. Luna's standing next to Celestia when she reads the letter from Twi.
-Plot-
Really interesting story. I like how we see Twilight with her new title. I love how they made her react to her newfound princesshood. If it was some simple girly show, Twilight would be happy, prancing, wearing gowns and crowns. But the opposite is right- Twilight is worried, even scared by her new duties, she constantly worries if she will manage to handle things, she even given up wearing her grown! Why, she even took the gem out of it!
One more thing that amazed me was Celestia's feelings. We, fans, always portrayed Celestia in constant sadness, but the show never really explored that part. Now we see how painful it was for her to banish her own sister, how hard it was to see her subjects rejoice, while she was overwhelmed with pain. We actually see her admitting that.
-Personal Opinion-
I extremely loved the episodes. I loved that we got to see the past of Equestria, Luna, Celestia and Discord.
That part when Big Mac was trying to get rid of the weeds, and was constantly saying "yep" and "nope" made me laugh hysterical. These two episode took over the first place on my "Epic Pony Episode" list.
-Overview-
I personally enjoyed the premier. I'm giving it 11 out of 10. It's badass and awesome and radical and just great.
I really hope that the rest of the season will be as cool as the premier!
How did you like the episodes? Tell me in the comments! :D
Have a nice day/night!

Plushie Review

Hi again!
A few days ago I got my hands on these sweeties:

Since everybody loves plushies and ponies, I'll review them now.
-Quality-
Before getting them l wasn't sure if they would be as good as they were on the pictures, but l was wrong. The material is soft and nice (my plushies smell like candy and flowers), i haven't washed them yet, so i don't
know what will happen to them after that. The manes are brushable. Pinkie's mane is particularly awesome because it's so poofy and curly. Cutie marks are well-made, and in two words- the toys are great.
I really like the eyes: they are show-like and nicely done. The eyes stare into your soul..... O-O
But what disappointed me was Twilight's horn. As you can see on the picture, the horn is, well, weird. The material it's made of is sparkly (in a bad way) and a bit cheap-ish...
-Fun Factor-
When l get a brushable pony (or anything), the first thing l do is style the hair, l can do that for ages. I spent hours to make Pinkie's mane even poofier then it already was. Don't get me started on Twiligh. Personaly, this provided me lots of fun time!
And you can hug the ponies- that will cheer up anyone.
Recreating the episodes is something you can do with action figures, but if you have a plushie AND a plastic pony, you can make up lots of scenarios, like the plushie is a huge, fluffy clone and others try to stop it from destroying the world with it's cuteness. You imagination is the limit!

-Overview-
The plushies are really good, almost flawless. I would give them a 9 out of 10 for being awesome.
Bye, have a great day/night!
